CBD Oil Information

What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil refers to an oil that has the substance CBD infused in it. CBD, stands for cannabidiol. The substance cannanbidiol is present in both the marijuana plant and the hemp plant. The CBD found in CBD oil is extracted from hemp and not marijuana. This is due to the fact that marijuana is heavily regulated and banned in most states. Cannanbidiol obtained from the hemp plant, is legal in every jurisdiction in the United States, although the hemp plant cannot be grown in the USA.

The Difference Between CBD Obtained From Marijuana And CBD Obtained From Hemp

As touched upon above, CBD is present in both hemp and marijuana. The CBD in marijuana however also causes a "high" which is associated with the drug. CBD from hemp on the other hand does not create a high when it is ingested or inhaled. This is the major difference between cannanbidiol found in hemp and that found in marijuana. Another major difference between the CBD in hemp and marijuana is that the cannanbidiol present in hemp is believed to have a much stronger medicinal effect than what is found in the marijuana plant.
